Recommend bathroom fitters?

Hey,

 

Does anyone have any recommendations for bathroom suite fitting? I've had a few quotes which for a small bathroom and simple setup are pushing 10k (and from research this seems to be above market rate, I could be wrong)

Had a brilliant handywoman pop round the other week to sort out the window in my bathroom which was too see through. The neighbours were forever peaking in.

I don't have any suggestions. Just that 10k seems an awful lot.

 

What's your spec?

 

Is it fully supply and fit? Does it include full tiling and floor? 

 

B&Q was a bit tongue in cheek but they could be a better starting point.

 

One other option is that you get advice from a competent fitter as to what you need then buy the main items, toilet, bath/shower, shower tray and shower pump if necessary, plus sink and taps and the tiles required and any other sundries yourself, and then get quotes to have them fitted. 

 

That's what we did for about 4K total albeit just before Covid. Maybe things have changed.
