I don't use this particular bit of kit but I do have midi controllers and about 10 Arturia soft-synths. I might be able to help?

Thanks.  I am completely new to music production.  So I may well PM you in the future when I get stuck!!  Fortunately, Arturia have plenty of tutorials on You-Tube to get me started.

Honestly there's so much information out there its overwhelming at times - kind of wish there was a wealth of resource like that when I started out. 

 

There are lots of different ways to reach the same end goal TBH, but it's important to know the basics and train your ears. If something sounds good and is technically sound, it doesn't really matter how you get there.

 

Even after 15 years, it's still really fvcking frustrating but it's also an amazing creative outlet. Good luck. 

 

There's a "post your music here" thread somewhere in which a few of us occasionally post BTW.
