Guest Posted 13 December 2005 Posted 13 December 2005 I used to be avle to turn my eyelids inside out, but I only found out about that because the boys at school would do it to try and freak the girls out, so I decided to fight fire with fire.

Apparently they tried that at the recent blaze near Luton. Conclusion: It doesn't work.

cisono Posted 14 December 2005 Posted 14 December 2005 That looks nasty and nearly artificial. Even if not artificial, I imagine it's not very hygienic to do that to your eye! You risk scratching your cornea or introducing infections into this delicate area. As to turning eyelids inside out, that is very common and it happened to me once on its own (it was scary as I could not see what was happening and just felt something was wrong with my eye). My brother does this eyelid inside-out turning all the time, just with a flick of his eye muscles, at which point I normally shout "stop that!"
