It’s nothing to do with his age it’s nothing to do with his school. It’s the politics of him not signing the contract on the table and/or talking to other clubs ahead of the summer. They did this with Tavares back in the day too when we were all crying out for him to get more minutes. Pretty sure they were open about doing the same with Wanya last season.

I do wonder if this is part of why we’re not seeing Evans or Monga. Probably good not to poison these young players by keeping them around the clowns on the first team.
