I bet there are one or two people on here who enjoy using the FM Editor. I need some help with a daft little idea I've had, And I can't figure out how to make it work on the editor...

Basically I want to add a new cup or just edit the FA Cup to allow teams from British Overseas Territories, like in the Coupe de France. Any help would be appreciated!

I used to be good at the FM database about ten years ago but will see if can help.

I managed to make an Anglo Scottish cup once, and think the way to do it then was to make that an active competition in England then add the teams somewhere under its format from their respective divisions.

Possibly not as simple as that but it was something like that. Did take me a lot of attempting to get it right though

I'm a big user of the editor to create some new concept stuff but I'm not sure where you'd even start with that, I would say I don't think you'll be able to do it by editing the FA Cup because there are hardcoded elements - you'd have to make a new competition I think.

Had a look online and I'm surprised no one has made that before from what I can see, really cool idea. You could try messaging some editor wizards on twitter and see if they'd know how to help @DanFMDatabases springs to mind.
