MC Prussian Posted 23 December 2005 Posted 23 December 2005 Well, this is kind of an unusual idea, but it's actually quite common in the professional world of screenwriting: I've just finished the first draft of a short called "Nine To Midnight", which is my contribution to the Vancouver Film School Final Projects, which start in late February/early March. This will be the last time for us to shoot student movies, before our one-year program comes to an end in late April. It's basically a Christmas comedy and features Santa Claus, a French-speaking helper called Pierre and a young boy called Tommy. Now, since I need input and fresh brain cells analyzing the whole thing, I wonder whether some of you are interested in cross-reading that piece for me and tell me, whether it makes sense or not, if you like it or not and where you can see some room for improvement. For more details about background, backstory or character development, just PM or send me an E-Mail. You will either need to download the free version of the scriptwriting software "Final Draft" or I can send it to you in .doc format. Anyone up for it?

If it's not going to impose too much on my family Christmas I'd be delighted to help. E-mail me if you wish.

MC Prussian Posted 28 December 2005 Author Posted 28 December 2005 Just wondering whether any of you guys had the chance of reading it yet. Constructive feedback is always welcome. A writer needs it like the soil needs the water. Can't exist without it.
