With all the goings and the few comings does anyone know the total sales value obtained and not least the total salary savings from the summer window?

We must have cut cost considerably and filled the coffers from sales on the other hand...

I think that a lot of people have become so distracted by psr that they become more concerned about turning a profit on the amortised amount that players owe and forget the net loss.

If we get £5m for a player owing £4m amortised but he cost £20m in the first place it is not a win.

I hate that being a football fan has become more about spreadsheets rather than football and I hate that I know what amortisation means.

net about £45m according to tm

ipswich £28m

Southampton £73m

But they have both strengthened and sold more over £110m saints and £85m Ipswich

Any idea of our savings on salaries?

£107m last time the accounts were out for 23/24

add the new signings for the prem season and deduct any outgoing payers contracts

Then deduct the players sold contracts and expired contracts for this season and add wages for new players on loan which we will likely be paying.

Given that we have not spent any money replacing the best striker in the clubs history, I think it’s fair to say the finances were worse that many imagined
