The team might be facing a tough spell right now, but our history is something to be proud of. Let's celebrate our incredible past together! Please share any Leicester football memorabilia you have.

Thinking about our best sustained eras.

 

1925-35 included a top 3 and runners up spot in top flight.

 

1956-57 to 1968-69. 12 successive seasons in top flight with a 6th place and a 4th place. 3 FA Cup Finals, League Cup win and runners up

 

1971 to 78 Entertaining team and decent in 1st Division ended by dismal relegation.

 

1983-85 A struggle boosted by Lineker, Smith and Lynex

 

1995-2000 The O'Neill years. 2 League Cups and could give any team a tough match.

 

2014-21 Wildest and Beyond Dreams

 

Now back in the doldrums which we have  drifted around too often.

1884-2010: Leicestershire Senior League, Midland League, Conference before promotion to League Two.

 

2010-now: Aiyawatt and Rudkin take over and we win everything despite fans booing, being entitled and ungrateful.

Getting relegated to L2, although very unlikely, would be pretty cool as the L2 title is the only one missing domestically for most fans "In my lifetime" bragging rights. 

 

Imagine being able to say you've won L2, L1, Championship,. Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Charity Shield in your lifetime and you're only in your mid twenties! 

 

Really regret not pushing for the Europa and Conference Leagues as they were very achievable at the time. 

 

Only 3 rounds away from winning the Champions League too. 

 

Ridiculous club.
