Mark Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 Good goal. Had another good effort that was close as well. Looking better in a team that are playing to his strengths He never got that forward for us during the last few years
Scow Posted 25 September 2004 Author Posted 25 September 2004 He's not suited to a 4-4-2, he needs to be the attacking player of a 5 man midfield. Soon as we switched to a 4-4-2 under Bassett, the goals dried up as Muzzy didn't have the license to get forward without the likes of Savage and Lennon mopping up.
Guest Daniel Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 It makes me smile, glad hes doing well. Legend.
Tomassi Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 thats the best reply of the lot bluemistress.. we gotta stop living in the past eh thinking about when it was good for us! good luck to izzet, always has been and always will be a leicester legend!
Guest Daniel Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 Like i said in another thread, he was no longer needed here when Adams needs 3 players for his style football, hhoooooooooofff!
Anish Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Great to see him back in the goals. He deserves to be in the Premiership. Class act, on and off the pitch.
kirkup21 Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Quality half volley, keeper had no chance! Keep it up Muzzy I need all the points I can get for my dream team!
Buzzell Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Muzzy the legend. He wil be in the hearts of many Leicester fans! I loe the guy, makes me really sick when he's plying for Birmingham, even worse when he scores and celebrates just brings back them good memories. Good luck to the bloke! Top Man!
Wellman Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 you reckon we should get a stature of him out side of the ground? WHY NOT?
Guest Daniel Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Because he didnt do as much as players like Walsh did. You cant have statues for every Legend.
Wellman Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 that would be phat you if we could though, we could put them on the pitch, they'd do a better job than what some of the players are doing at the moment
Guest Daniel Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 I was going to say we had 11 statues on the pitch second half yesterday.
Anish Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Not to mention the statue that is Micky Adams - standing on the touchline with his arms crossed.
