MON Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 I think he would be a good choice to replace micky. He is one of those managers that lays the foundations, strengthens his side bit by bit each season. He also plays attacking football. I think he would be the first choice candidate. He has said he is getting annoyed at QPR's financial state. QPR are playing, virtually the same side that got promoted, This shows his capabiltys as a manager at building a team on a shoe-string budget. Also his motivational side. Can you see us coming back to 3-2 from 2 goals down. I certainly cannot. I am sure he would consider coming to us, let's get him in, i say. what are your opinions?
TrickyTrev Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 We don't need another long ball manager. Ian Holloway is exactly the same as Micky Adams but with a worse record.
Guest Daniel Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Well said, he is also a big fan of the long ball. We need to play football not hoof.
alex Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 And why on earth would he leave QPR to join the foxes? Why? Stooopid.
Scow Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Well said, he is also a big fan of the long ball.We need to play football not hoof. 21973 We need to get results, style of play is secondary to that. No thanks to Holloway though.

I aint happy seeing the football played at the moment, we are probably the worst footballing team in the country, does that make you proud? I wonder who you are sometimes, got to be something to do with the club with them non critising views of yours

I will critisise when it's right to not about every little thing like some people on here, which is who my point was aimed at. Certain people say they wanted MA out before the beginning of last season... if thats the case will they ever be happy!!! Or will they just slag everyone and everything off until they are proved correct, because eventually they will be right. It was aimed at people who say we need to play passing football when it's results that matter. I'm not the only one who thinks like that.. your chum scowy thinks the same.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Glen Hoddle would get us playing football 22096 I wish i had the chance to get um playing football the overpaid useless bastards wouldn't know what hit um!!!!!!!

It’ll be no good getting more wins under our belts with a different manager if the football from the team is still boring. This would surly still keep the fans away, and as I have said before NO board will stand for low gate receipts.
Scow Posted 26 September 2004 Posted 26 September 2004 Irrespective of the style of football, winning games of football will attract the fans, just like it did 2 years ago. We weren't very entertaining then, but winning every week ensured we had almost full capacity attendances for every home game. I understand what people are saying about the style of play, and it's not particulary nice to watch, but I don't really care aslong as it get results. I want us to win games, anything else is secondary....
