On that showing, better on the ball, but had one shot to deal with and was beaten on his near post, and an average keeper probably saves it, but didn't we already know this? Hadn't the Blackpool fans already said he was abysmal or was it just me.  We don't have a competent keeper at the club.

Yeh we’ve effectively got a career back up keeper as first choice with two 3rd choice keepers as back up to him. Martin’s biggest flaw, particularly considering the risk ball he encourages from the back is to not sign a keeper both comfortable with his feet and an oustanding shot stopper. His career as a manager has seen him play average keepers as if he’s not too fussed who plays in that key role. 
 

Enzo’s first move, playing a similar style to Martin, was to sign a keeper with that exact skill set in Hermansen.
