Bit of a long shot this but I'm going to ask anyway.... Does anybody on here know where Leicester's 'A' Team would have played their Birmingham & District League home fixtures in 1959/1960 please?

If you mean the Reserves I used to watch the occasional game in the early 60s at Filbert St. I don't think they even had a training ground then as they use to practice in the car park.

To be honest, no. Other football league clubs 'A' or Reserve sides seemed to play their games on their first team ground. I just wanted to make sure!

That's good enough for me then! Thanks! I'm just collating information for an On This Day programme article at Leamington. I think the fact that there was a crowd of nearly 1,500 would suggest the game took place at Filbert Street.
