lcfc true blue josh 18 Posted 3 January 2006 Posted 3 January 2006 who thinks that henderson should be given a chance in goal, also happy new year
Hitesh Posted 3 January 2006 Posted 3 January 2006 maybe. Still wont solve our crisis though! What we need is people who can get the ball into the back of the net. We also need a stable back four who can play with confidence amongst each other including the keeper!
Frenzied Posted 3 January 2006 Posted 3 January 2006 I think it may well be a good move to get Henderson in. Douglas, in my opinion, is part of the problem at the back - he's not commanding enough and seems unable to organise the defence correctly.
lcfcking Posted 3 January 2006 Posted 3 January 2006 Henderson in!!!!! Douglas cannot command, catch or punch, is Henderson that bad Levein?
Leicester Lass Posted 3 January 2006 Posted 3 January 2006 It's got to be worth a try, I went to Cardiff in the cup and he played brilliantly, far better than I have ever seen Douglas play! And everytime we are on TV Douglas seems to give away a penalty so I'm not holding out much hope if he starts against Spurs.
theboywillmott Posted 3 January 2006 Posted 3 January 2006 Definately! He has played well in all his games so far, especially at Cardiff. I don't know why Levein doesn't start him.
City Fan Posted 3 January 2006 Posted 3 January 2006 I think Henderson should be given a game against Tottenham because he has played in the rest of the cup games, but I think Douglas's performance against Palace should keep him in the squad for the Sheff Wed game.
Tommeh Posted 3 January 2006 Posted 3 January 2006 If he plays in the Carling cup then there is no reason why Levein shouldn't give him a chance in this competition
Chrysalis Posted 3 January 2006 Posted 3 January 2006 henderson in goal might boost defensive confidence and make them run forward more often ultimately making us more prolific going forward. It has a knock on affect to the whole team.
