Disillusioned Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 I think the match was played in a great spirit - I can't remember a single nasty challenge throughout the 90 minutes (even Maybury's yellow was just a good old fashioned trip). It's great to see teams compete without resorting to sticking their studs in the opposition's bollocks. When I got home and checked the DVD I noticed the bonhomie in the 'tunnel' with Robbie Keane in particular giving out the handshakes (I'll even forgive him his crap goal celebration routine). There was also some great banter between him and Rab Douglas (who really seemed to enjoy himself) during the game. Marvellous, marvellous - jumpers for goalposts and all that Ron Manager stuff...

Jon the Hat Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Even CL managed a smile during the game True. Although when the cameras cut to Levein smiling after De Vries hit a beautiful shot somewhere into a street in Wigston I was a bit pissed off and might even have sworn at the telly.
