Scow Posted 15 January 2006 Share Posted 15 January 2006 are you sure we were better than you in the second half? we only had two shots. They only had one. Anyhow, Wednesday deserved the win because they simply showed more fight than us. When we were in posession of the ball, there was always a Wednesday player closing us down. They also won most of the 50/50s. Saying that, they were cack, just like us. Both teams demonstrated little quality, apart from Brunt's strike, which we allowed because we had a non existent midfield.

Trust me you were slighlty better but to be honest you didn't look like scoring at all Apart from one shot that had our keeper Nicky Weaver having to make a wonder save But again i think you will get out of the relegation zone and i look forward to playing you lot next season
Milky Posted 15 January 2006 Share Posted 15 January 2006 They only had one. what i meant was, all we did in the second half was have 2 shots. we didn't really show any drive to try and win the game, the second half just drifted by in anonomous fashion. We need too take some pointers off of you. PS. That LB you've got's abit special

Where's he gone , did'nt he scored 2 against Charlton?!?! He has gone to Bansley on loan with view to Permo deal He did score two against charlton and yes he was a very good left back and now we have took a step back buying that Gilbert and basically letting heckingbottom got for nothing I dont knock sturrock much coz he has done a fantastic job but he does have his favourites and thsi Gilbert seems to be one of them and i think he has got it wrong

tinoblade Posted 15 January 2006 Share Posted 15 January 2006 Hey brad well done to wednesday today especially after watching leicster beat tottenham i felt assured you would stuff them but it's not happening for you in the league and i must admit i was really embarrased when you beat us
Muz Posted 15 January 2006 Share Posted 15 January 2006 Sturrock used to rim Gilbert in his Plymouth days aswell. Heckinbottom was a very good LB , so I've heard. Scored 2 in the FA Cup against a Premiership team , and what thanks did he get... kicked out on loan to Barnsley. Harsh.
