Bert Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 Link If Leicester City are to recreate the Spurs triumph when Cardiff come to the Walkers Stadium on Saturday, the intimidating atmosphere has to be repeated too. Manager Craig Levein said: "Saturday is going to be a massive game and what is important is that we don't shoot ourselves in the foot by the players going out there with a lack of confidence. "What is vital is that we make the Walkers Stadium an intimidating place for the opposition, not for ourselves. "In the Spurs game, the fans put them on the back foot with their backing and it would be great if that happened again. "We all know the frustration we are going through and it is a mutual thing between the crowd and the players. We have all got to get together." City are set to enter another hectic spell of vital games, with five in a fortnight, and they will need all their resources on call if possible. To this end, Levein was boosted by signs that James Wesolowski and Lee Morris will soon be back in the fold. Both played in a reserve-team defeat by Arsenal last night, Morris scoring in the 4-1 reverse at Hinckley and Wesolowski getting through his first 90 minutes since his return from a broken leg. Morris went off as a precaution with a slight groin strain and is behind Wesolowski in terms of progress to full fitness. Australian teenager Wesolow-ski, in fact, is in line for a call on Saturday to be part of the squad. Levein said: "I was pleased to see Wesolowski do well. He could be valuable to us in the busy series of games. He is a real Rottweiler and, as we say we are in a dog fight now, what could be better than someone like him! "He will probably be in the squad for the Cardiff match. Morris is a little further away, but the signs are positive." Richard Stearman, taken off at Hillsborough last Saturday with a dead leg, will be back in training tomorrow and is expected to be available. Danny Tiatto may still be out and, with Joey Gudjonsson suspended, it is timely that Wesolowski is in contention for a place. New striker Matty Fryatt will have one of the striking spots and Patrik Gerrbrand is set to continue in defence after appearing as a second-half substitute at Hillsborough, but Levein's big hope is that the same crowd response from the cup win will bring the same result on Saturday. So Morris was injured

So Morris was injured As I said in the reserve thread, although Morris went off rubbing his groin, he didn't look to bad and it was probably a twinge if anything. I suspect he'll be okay for the next reserve game. It sounds like Levein was at the game last night, thought he was!
byebyelevein Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 So Gerrbrand to start, Fryatt to start, and Wesolowski to be in the squad. Maybe we do have a chance, but it is a very tiny chance!
Lemon Harpic Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 Morris went off rubbing his groin Obviously, he's really happy to be playing football again...
lookwhaticando Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 Obviously, he's really happy to be playing football again... ... he's waited so long just to get some action
