Like many local rags the Merc is keen to maintain good relations with LCFC - its circulation depends on this. Other provincial papers have suffered when they had their press passes taken away from them. I notice a few Johnny-come-lately's have scrambled on to the anti Levein bandwagon to chuck a few rocks at Anderson. These are the same twats who just a few weeks ago were telling us about the good stuff that was being played under Levein and how we were building for the future. I'd take their opposition to Levein with a pinch of salt. It's not him they hate. It's being in a minority. But when the situation has demanded it, the Mercury HAVE fallen out with the club. I remember BA being banned from Belvoir Drive for a while because he wrote some mild words of criticism of the then chief executive. It was one of the rare occasions when his credibility actually went up! And I don't think I qualify as a "Johnny-come-lately" when I've been writing critical articles about CLon this and other boards for the past 10 months.

I herd on the radio somewhere he was a big Hearts fan, somthing about Villa as well, and a comment that he had more clubs the Jack Nicholas. It's not nessacerily a me hating Craig Levein thing, I'll admit to having sat on the fence for a long while. the last time I had any real opinion on the matter was before the Cov game, which I said I would refuse to except losing. In fact I do still admit that I will not call for his head at games, and I will still hold out hope that he turns it round, however if he was sacked tommorow I wouldnt be upset. This has been my general opinion for several months now. One person I have never really however is Bill Anderson. Producing such a Opinionated article just compounds my dislike for the bloke. I wouldn't mind if he had put his points across well, and actually made me think, but the whole thing just stunk of a fit up to help CL get some much needed backing. Much worse his recycled alot of things people on here have been saying. He's English is about on par with my own to make matters worse.

ithuriel Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 i didnt know hating CL was a social event. though perhaps hating bill anderson is there was a time i thought CL could do a job for this club but the turning point for me was the xmas period. everyone who supports leicester , well nearly everyone, must have backed CL at sometime unless they were clairvoyant or not prepared to give him a chance.

Bill "everything is beautiful Anderson" should take a trip to Newcastle and smell the brown ale. He is and always has been atotal disgrace. Mind radio Leicester is not far behind. I may be clutching at straws but I think Tim Davies etc will do the right thing and boot the ignorant tactiless incopitent Jock back across the border. Im almost worried that we might beat Cardiff and he will stay. No we wont!
