  1. In fact having read some of the stuff on here over the past few weeks, I'm giving this place a miss for the time being, goodbye.
  2. I'm going to go to bed now because otherwise I'm going to say something I should not, pal.
  3. Its not the time for silly messaging either, peeps need to grow up. Left, Right, who cares, peeps should dial it back a bit.
  4. The third one was actually not that bad, I guess peeps did not like the ending.
  5. Seriously, wow.
  6. Got a large dvd/bluray collection and a fair few B+W movies, one of my fave horror movies is Night of the Demon, just love that movie.
  7. Yup, the acting is top notch but the writing is so clever and apparently stuck closely to the book it was based on.
  8. Its an old film, often shown on Film4 but it has one of the best flip the narrative endings, the Caine Mutiny. Starring Humphrey Bogart, you see a new enlistee joining a destroyer during WW2. Bogart joins as the captain a bit later in the movie and the story makes you dislike him, leading to a mutiny during a typhoon when he begins to crack under the pressure. Theres a court martial for one of the officers who lead the mutiny and the defending officer wins the case for the accused. Then the big switch, he tells the crew they were mutineers and proves it whilst painting one of the good guys as a coward and sneak, you never saw that coming until late in the movie.
  9. Watched a uniquely weird horror film on Disney Plus, totally absurd but the acting sells it. Well worth watching once. The Menu.
  10. Want an exquisite goal, the back heel from Heskey to Claridge in the league cup vs' Man UTD. at about 3.30 in.
  11. Was perusing Youtube and found some LCFC videos of bygone seasons of best goals during the season. So...enjoy.
  12. We've had some great keepers over the years so it is hard to pick and some are too easily forgotten, just the O'Neill era for instance, Keller was outstanding for us and then we got Flowers and an able deputy in Arphexad. Just cant decide on the best GK performance but found a couple videos.
  13. Are not OLEDs even worse than old Plasma TVs for screen burn if a still image is left on the screen?
  14. Just watched Ballerina and I enjoyed it, fits right in to the John Wick universe. The end credits

  17. Seems to be one of those weekends, saw a couple posts earlier about two stabbing events in the city center and a dead body found in a vehicle in Beaumont Leys.
  18. Another story element used in X-men 97, Magnetos trial, in the comics it involved much more.... Guys not uploaded issue 4 yet......

It is quite amazing that even after all this time, new evidence of far past events can pop up, makes you wonder if somewhere lying around theres evidence of events/cases yet to be discovered that can shed new light on history.
  22. Rayner got caught, had to resign, no sympathies for a hypocrite, good riddance. What is it with the people in that place that makes them think they can line their pockets and not think they will get caught or maybe they do not care and its feed from the trough whilst they can.
  23. The club was bailed out by ex players etc., and we lucked out in getting Vichai to invest before our successes. Even when we were relatively sound again after a decade of struggle before KP came in we were renting a stadium in need of repair, still remember a briefing before a game when I did some stewarding that one of the scoreboards was faulty but the money was not there to repair it. Taylor and the Chairman at the time really ploughed us into the mire.
  24. Couldn't sleep, put the TV on and WTF......
