Scow Posted 6 October 2004 Posted 6 October 2004 Peter Shirtliff's reserve side take on Ipswich Town at Kettering FC on Wednesday evening (7pm).The second string line up contains no less than nine Academy players as City go in search of their first FA Premier Reserve League South win of the season. Richard Stearman will be hoping to further his first team claims on the night, while Scottish international Peter Canero will continue his recovery from injury by getting some much needed match minutes under his belt. Transfer listed centre-half Martin Keown is also included in the starting line up. The game kicks off at 7pm. Admission is free for Junior Foxes and Junior season ticket holders. Adults pay £2 and under 16s pay £1. The club has moved all of their remaining home reserve fixtures for the rest of 2004 to Rockingham Road in a bid to protect the Walkers Stadium playing surface. City: Conrad Logan, James Wesolowski, Alan Sheehan, Richard Stearman, Martin Keown, Ricky Muggleton, Peter Canero, Aarron Butcher, Louis Dodds, Levi Porter, Adam Wykes. Subs: Usman Gondal, Liam Norvall. Another young side - Where's Tomi Petrescu though? Pleased that Keown is playing alongside Stearman.

There's no way he wouldn't of been included last night if he was available as they only had two subs!!!!!!

I hope they sack him tonight, that would be well funny. The only manager ever to get sacked after a freindly!
