Darth Fox Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 He's just being on being interviewed by Brazil etc. Rob Kelly etc are on a game to game basis and will be in charge for at least next 2 games. He seems like a nice bloke(maybe that was the problem).
Shipman Out Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 Talk Sport is genius! Alan Brazil and Beaky in the morning, Rodney Marsh and PBT at four o clock, and Andy Townsend and Mike Parry weekend mornings, great stuff! Ive heard Levein on there a few times this season, if no one has listened to it before i reccommend you do (James Whale at 10pm is so funny!)

Best station ever and makes the journey to work entertaining. PBT kicked off with Rodney Marsh a few nights back, was hilarious. Only person I hate on the station is Adrian Durham who would argue with his shadow. Alan Brazil and Beaki are awesome though. Would love to go for a drink with those pair.
werestandingup_weresittingdown Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 what is the frequency?? can you get it countrywide???
Harpenden Fox Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 yep, 1053 or 1089 on good old medium wave. If you ever get a chance listen to Hawksbee and Jacobs afternoon. Guaranteed to make you chuckle. Excellent nonsense which even stops me worrying about relegation for a while
werestandingup_weresittingdown Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 and its all about sport throughout the day??!!! brilliant!!! i was tuning into 693 today to see if they mentioned us, which they didnt!! i will be tuning in from now on, many thanks!
werestandingup_weresittingdown Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 i emailed tim this morning to thank him for getting rid of levein and also mentioned that his popularity amongst city fans could be further bettered by switching the kop and introducing unreserved seating!!! He quickly replied with a thanks and also cc'd peter jones in on the email!!!
foxilescom Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 If you reintroduced unreserved seating, would that mean you would have to get in your seat earlier to get where you wanted to be ? Earlier in the seats, better atmosphere instead of spending time downstairs. Ground gets full quicker ?

It is such a shame that it was removed in the first place.
Katy Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 You can also listen online HERE thats my prefered choice as I cant get any radio stations in my house
werestandingup_weresittingdown Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 exactly, unreserved seating in the kop would mean a ground filling up earlier and a much better atmosphere as like minded fans ie us who like to sing and generate noise and god forbid swear on the odd occasion, can congregate together. This would soon develop into pretty much a singing section and a proper kop
Shipman Out Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 i emailed tim this morning to thank him for getting rid of levein and also mentioned that his popularity amongst city fans could be further bettered by switching the kop and introducing unreserved seating!!! He quickly replied with a thanks and also cc'd peter jones in on the email!!! I E-Mailed him last year about moving the Kop to next to the away fans and changing to unreserved seating it is a great idea to make the atmosphere better and if i had kids i wouldnt want to be sitting next to the away fans. He mentioned safety and reduced capacity about unresearved seating (be worth it!) also he said would have to be done end of season
Chimp Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 I'm all for moving the kop to the North stand but... you can get the hell away from my reserved seat!!
BartonFox Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 i emailed tim this morning to thank him for getting rid of levein and also mentioned that his popularity amongst city fans could be further bettered by switching the kop and introducing unreserved seating!!! werestandingup_weresittingdown Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 why??? did you not sit in the old spion kop when it was unreserved seating?? The WS will never have a great atmosphere without it. the last years in the kop when it was reserved seating it didnt matter as everyone knew pen 1 and 2 would stand and sing. but for the WS to get a real kop it would need to introduce unreserved, no question
Guest Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 You should have filled in your questionnaire if you want uinreserved seating/moving Kop.
