Thin_King Posted 13 February 2006 Share Posted 13 February 2006 If our choices are now down to 2, Kelly and Holloway. And Kelly is about to be named manager till the end of the season.... Does it look like Derby will have to take our cast off "no holloway are we taking u on" Ian Holloway? Who elese can they have? If weve picked on the best up and coming managers in the coca cola football league, and have had no joy or promise in any of those options, why would they join a club 42mill in debt??? Sounds like worrying times ahead for Derby "Ooh sheep shaggeeeers!" County F**kball club. Cr*p board, Cr*p Team, no stars, no manager, no money... AND WE THOUGHT WE WERE IN A PICKLE!!! Louise Posted 13 February 2006 Share Posted 13 February 2006 There are two consortium-type things thinking of buying Derby and paying off their debts, if that happens they won't be in as poor a position as you suggest.

FNQ Posted 13 February 2006 Share Posted 13 February 2006 Derby are of a similar size to Leicester so they should be alright. John Gregory.

westmidsfox Posted 13 February 2006 Share Posted 13 February 2006 The guy whose name is being mentioned with regard to a possible takeover at the shaggers is Peter Gadsby. He is an ex board member from Ashbourne (where I lived briefly as a child and escaped from as soon as "choice" became an option ) but certainly doesn't have immense personal wealth to dig them out of the mire so any miracle cure will come from others in the consortium, if it exists. If the debt figure is as high as reported they must be so close to someone asking for a winding up order and thus administration ! So the new boss could be Mr Administrator.
