Jonbluefox9 Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 Pressman 7.5- A few brilliant saves down my end. A little poor on crosses but apart from that he had a very solid game. Makin 6- Not spectacular but didn't do a lot wrong. Keown 6- Moaned at other players when he made mistakes. coceded a stupid free kick late on and also appealed to the ref and tried to play the offside trap when the other defenders weren't in line. Why fans still sung his name was beyond me. Heath 7- Had a solid game. Shame he scored the late own goal because apart from that he had a very goood game. Smart finish too. Stewart 7- Got forward well and was at last trying to take defenders on. Good strike in the second half. Only mistake was ducking slightly under the ball for their first. Scowcroft 7- Best player in the first half imo. Was working very hard and was really the only player trying to close down the opposition in the first 15 minutes. Faded in the second half though. Good knock on for Connolly's goal. Nalis 6- Looked shaky in the first 10 minutes and failed to get involved in the game. One of his quieter games. Williams 7- One of his better games until the injury. Shouldn't have squared it to Connolly in the first half when he had a clear view of goal. Seemed to get involved a lot more then usual. Tiatto 7- Got stuck in as usual and kept running for the whole game. Another hard working performance from him. Connolly 8.5- Lacked confidence before his goal but he burst into life after it. Began to try his luck from anywhere. Shame he didn't see much of the ball second half. Dublin 5- Didn't jump to win headers, didn't win many headers. Another lacklustre performance from Dion. Subs: Gudjonsson 6- Didn't get the chance to show what he could do. Benjamin 6- Ditto.
