TrickyTrev Posted 25 October 2004 Posted 25 October 2004 I don't really see how £300 is expensive to fly to India! What were you expecting to pay? Still far too much for me to afford.
Anish Posted 25 October 2004 Posted 25 October 2004 Good idea for the club to play there - would boost our credentials in India for sure. Great stadium for the players to play in too.
dan_84 Posted 25 October 2004 Posted 25 October 2004 maybe an extremly wealthy sultan, or whatever they are called will want to buy our club. maybe like an indian roman aramovich. on a serious note tho, there isnt a big team of the likes of man U, Liverpool etc, that has already took the asian market like how it is in china and the US maybe we could do that. there are some very very rich people in india and sport is massive out there. Sachin Tendulka is one of the highest payed sportsman, through his sponserships in india.

It is a bit delayed but they are now trying to make an effort, the extra income could be extra-ordianry. And we could maybe get India's best young players for free, there must be some good palyers with a country who's population is over 1 billion. Good coaching is needed though.
