Steven Posted 25 October 2004 Posted 25 October 2004 Keown could be out for the next three games. http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~580897,00.html
Hoof Fox Posted 25 October 2004 Posted 25 October 2004 Its a shame because I thought he was excellent against Stoke till he had to go off, but we do have a great replacement in Matty Elliott who came on and was superb.
Anish Posted 25 October 2004 Posted 25 October 2004 Hopefully Stearman will now get a spot on the bench at least.
MON Posted 25 October 2004 Posted 25 October 2004 Hopefully Stearman will now get a spot on the bench at least. 29320 I got a feeling Dabizaz will be on the bench, that is why i started the thread about which centre-back to get rid off. We have too many.

Although Keown has been excellent since coming back in to the team. I hope Liability (Dabizas) stays as far away as possible, but he'll be involved in some capacity no doubt. <_<
Oli Posted 25 October 2004 Posted 25 October 2004 Thats bad news as I think he has been our one of our best player. But hopefully Matty can keep performing.
Ash Posted 26 October 2004 Posted 26 October 2004 Hopefully Stearman will now get a spot on the bench at least. 29320 Id profer him to be playing in the starting 11
>>>Bevan<<< Posted 26 October 2004 Posted 26 October 2004 I think Elliot can restart our season he is a great proffesional and leader and will sort out the lazy ones, i think we need a player who aint afraid to have a go at other players especially in central mid.

Keown is struggling with hamstring trouble and Greek international Nikos Davizas is on the injured list with back trouble." Merc
Scow Posted 27 October 2004 Posted 27 October 2004 Keown could be fit for Cardiff.... Scans have revealed the hamstring injury afflicting Leicester defender Martin Keown is not as serious as had been feared at first. There had been concerns the veteran 38-year-old centre-half had suffered a tear in the muscle after Keown was forced to limp out of the weekend's 1-1 home draw with Stoke after 39 minutes. The original prognosis had been a three-game spell on the sidelines but tests on Tuesday found no damage to the muscle and instead pinpointed a sciatic nerve problem as the cause of Keown's discomfort. Now Keown has been ordered to rest and an assessment of his fitness will be made on Friday, prior to the weekend's Ninian Park clash with Cardiff. Link - Teamtalk
Steven Posted 27 October 2004 Author Posted 27 October 2004 I thought sciatica was an old people's problem, even older than me. :w00t: :w00t:
