lookwhaticando Posted 25 March 2006 Posted 25 March 2006 Sinclair was class today. Says it all really.
Libertine Posted 25 March 2006 Posted 25 March 2006 He got a bit annoying due to the fact that he kept making out as if Reading wouldn't go up if they lost and Sheff Utd won, but miles better than Barber.
City_4_Life Posted 25 March 2006 Posted 25 March 2006 He did do well, but he got abit confused about if Reading were going up or not. I would still rather have him then B@rb*r

In all fairness, knowing if a team was going up or not is dependent on several factors - perhaps he hadn't fully grasped the information provided. It was a little annoying as it had me well confused. But ... when you compare that to listening to "beaten 2-0 at Norwich last week" (quoting a guy who was supposedly at the match) and "thats 4 wins in a row now" (even tho he'd been at the last 4, of which we'd won three...) There's just no competition.

Anish Posted 25 March 2006 Posted 25 March 2006 I listened to Radio Leicester on the way back home and was surprised that Barber was nowhere to be heard - although it was a pleasant surprise! Do you think he's been given the chop? I hope so Sinclair is miles better anyway.
Walkers Wonderkid Posted 25 March 2006 Posted 25 March 2006 im not sure, they're both a bit bob because when sinclair starts talking barber always interupts because coincidently the opposition have an attack and nearly score (so listen out for that) but they go on about other stuff and forget that they are supposed to be match reporting and to be honest when you listen to them you dont really know who's half the ball is in or what position the ball possesor is in, and then bam out of nowhere we score and they describe the goal poorly and sometimes forget to tell you who 100% scored.
cisono Posted 25 March 2006 Posted 25 March 2006 Didn't listen to the Leicester commentary, but he has to better than Barber
