Swedging Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 Let's face it. In the finals, England normally only have one good match in them. In Italy, it was the semi, which in the end we lost against the second biggest cheats at that year's finals. So far this year, we've played just as bad as we did then. An exciting, pretty much undeserved, win over Portugal to mirror that over Belgium in '90 would be good. And then another a real disorganised thriller, where all tactics have gone to shit, against Brazil. But this time WE MIGHT WIN.
Stevosevic Posted 26 June 2006 Posted 26 June 2006 This year is very similiar to 66 as well - played south american team in 2nd round? - portugal in quarter-final? - played germany in the final, may happen this year - Ramsey recieving alot of criticism about tactics in media, like sven - also we player poorly in group games in 66, like this year.
