davieG Posted 15 November 2004 Posted 15 November 2004 Bad or not the Sunderland fans may be but this sort of response, no matter what the provocation makes me ashamed to be associated with LCFC and this forum. I hope you are all very proud of yourselves as you bring an equal amount of shame to LCFC in my humble opinion. I think Keith Weller would not expect this sort of childish tirade over his passing.
Shauno45 Posted 15 November 2004 Posted 15 November 2004 Its not hard to notice there was a minute silence. All the players were standing together with there heads down and it was silent!!
Guest Posted 15 November 2004 Posted 15 November 2004 Even John Sinclair couldn't believe the excuse of the fans being late.
Jonesy_rules Posted 16 November 2004 Posted 16 November 2004 JulioArca, ur a bit silent! ashamed of yourself?Cuz u should be
Wilson Posted 16 November 2004 Posted 16 November 2004 I think JulioArca should be along here soon seeing that Primary schools finish for the day soon don't they?
Cat Burger Posted 16 November 2004 Posted 16 November 2004 Are you insinuating that he goes to a primary school or that he hangs around them?
Shum Posted 16 November 2004 Posted 16 November 2004 To be fair I DID NOT HEAR any tannoy annoucement for the minute's silence and I sit in L1. However, as soon as I seen the players huddle up in the centre circle, it kind of gave it away....
Jonbluefox9 Posted 16 November 2004 Posted 16 November 2004 It was a very quiet announcement but people have complained in the past that the PA system's too loud. You'd think they would've turned it up on that occasion.

Remember that other bloke came out to play the trumpet the first time? And you could hardly hear it. Though at the time i was absolutely delighted Sounded much better that quiet
Jonesy_rules Posted 18 November 2004 Posted 18 November 2004 find that strange, considering the rest of the ground seemed to of hear the announcement!!!!!!

bluefox Posted 18 November 2004 Posted 18 November 2004 I sit in the BMI Baby Stand and we definatley heard the announcement. However maybe the PA announcement should have been replayed just before the minutes silence as the Sunderland fans obvioulsy had a 'restricted view' of the pitch and could not see both sets of playesr form the traditional huddle for this kind of thing.
