The old Lost on Channel 4

Anyone remember a programme called Lost that used to be on Channel 4 about four years ago or so? I'm trying to find some info about it on Google but can only find stuff about the one on at the moment. It was a reality TV show where three teams of two got dropped by helicopter in a remote part of the world and had to make their way back to Trafalgar Square.

And it was brilliant. Anyone else watch it?

Here it is! Lost!

A show of the same name and format was produced in the UK for Channel 4 and shown in October 2001. Five episodes were broadcast in which teams were abandoned in Northern Russia, Mali, Venezuela, Quebec and Azerbaijan. The teams had to race back to Trafalgar Square, London, except in the Azerbaijan episode, where the destination was the Angel of the North statue in Gateshead. While the show had the potential to be a success, poor scheduling of the program in a late night slot meant it reached only a limited audience. The UK version was repeated on a cable channel a few months after the first showing.

I remember this, it was a quality programme. Id sooner watch it than the current Lost.

Damn straight! Can't believe there were only 5 episodes! My favourite was the Canada one - think that was a double episode. I loved it when the posh guy got done over after he'd sort of cheated by staying in New York at an apartment his parents had. The Azerbaijan one was quality too.
