Nationwider Posted 5 July 2006 Posted 5 July 2006 The trouble with football is that throws up characters like Scolari, Keane, Bellamy etc who (to me) are utterly charmless arseholes, but who are invariably winners. If we'd got Scolari, we'd only subconsciously want to see him fail and for the press to flay him to shreds. I'd rather he did all that with Portugal for a few more years. I would have taken MON over Fat Phil and the rest by about 76,000,000 miles.
