3 Network

I'm thinking of cashing in my O2 pay as you go phone because I've had enough of it, I've found a few really good offers on 3, which some of my mates have and have no problem with coverage at all, although people in rival phone shops tell you the coverage is terrible. Does anyone have any experience of the 3 network and if so what's it like? Thanks.

I know of one person using 3, and he says the coverage isn't as good.

i have a 3 phone and whilst the coverage isn't as good, the deals do compensate.

Our Stez had huge problems with 3, if you are going on a contract go into it with caution. If the phone ****s up (which the ones they give out do quite often) they wont do owt about it and continue to charge you even though you cant use your phone.

3 are ok...they are beginning to use the same network as O2 so the quality of signal should be improving however, the Midlands seems to be one of the last places to receive these upgrades.

My 3 phone also broke and they picked it up the next day and was returned within 4days. By which time as Katy has said they are still charging you. If the problem occurs twice then they will replace your phone. I had 3 different phones in 12 months and had already sent each one back twice was for around 1/6 of my contract i was without a phone.

Signal=Improving

Phones=Unless you have a guaranteed reliable phone the waits are endless when they go wrong. Do your research on the internet and check out other peoples experiences.

Service= Not too bad, pick up the phone the next day...however could have left you with a loan phone.

Deals=Good, however t-mobile and Orange are slowly catching up and 02 are not far behind these

damn right! fricking shysters.

"oh hello sir were ringing to offer you a fantastic deal" til your phone ****s up and you have to run around the country getting the thing fixed (which noone actually could) a court order later i was forced to pay up the contract. thanks for nothing '3' :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::rolleyes:

3 have been the best company I have been with so far. My phone broke after about 9 months of the contract and they simply replaced it with a new one and took my old one away so I have no problems with the customer service.

No matter how many new networks have come out, Orange have always been reliable for me, never messed me around/flooded me with junk, every now and then i get a few deals and i always have full signal unless in college

A couple of times I have called Orange up regarding questions about services and each time they have given me extra text messages. The lastime I called up to ask why I was paying for sending pictures to email addresses (I had been given a months worth when asking about this) and when it was revealed that the pictures had to be under a certain size instead of saying tough shit they refunded the last five that I had sent. That is a good enough reason to stay with them at the moment.

I am with 3, they seem pretty good. I get good phone coverage in most places, though video coverage tends to be near larger towns. Hope this helps!
