PortlandZorro Posted 8 August 2006 Share Posted 8 August 2006 People want wingers brought, yet the same people don't pay to go to the games? Well being in work makes that a bit difficult, so I suppose that makes me and the rest of the exiles/workers/infirm disloyal and our opinions are not valid. TAFKA Castroneves Posted 8 August 2006 Share Posted 8 August 2006 Its a horrible spot to be in, Leicester need the fans to afford players and without the players we won't be able to get up where the fans want to be. Thus 19,000 gates all season if we're lucky

Nope like i said in my other post, people have reasons for not going especially when it is a mid-week game. But not when there are about 50 members all viewing the match thread moaning their arses off. Everyone has their own valid opinion, yet nothings going to change this way is it. coale39 Posted 8 August 2006 Share Posted 8 August 2006 People want wingers brought, yet the same people don't pay to go to the games? Ya cant blame people for not going. With the line-up Kelly started with, people arnt gonna be excited about going down. I know people should go down even if it is shit, but thats human nature. Its turning into a chore. You find out the team line-up about an hour before the game, how many people decide if they are going as gates begin to open? I didn't want to go tonight because i didn't want to waste £20 when i'm just about to begin a student dept, all i'm saying is i don't see the point in making fierce criticisms based on cr@p subjective radio commentary. At the minute there is no incentive what so ever for people to buy tickets, but you can't complain about things if your not doing ur bit?

coale39 Posted 8 August 2006 Share Posted 8 August 2006 Come on its rob kelly. Hardly unpredictive line-ups. One change since saturday. Probley another one change (low) this saturday.
Burnsy Posted 8 August 2006 Author Share Posted 8 August 2006 The team always seems more exciting at the end of the game with the subs hes made. Rk's tactics are to negative in my opinion why not just go for it from the start and not let the opposition think straight the way that there playing defensive. lcfc_jme Posted 8 August 2006 Share Posted 8 August 2006 it was easy to tell we'd have a small crowd there tonight after Saturdays performance - which is exactly why I didn't bother to go down

Did you read the thread a few weeks ago about who people wanted to start? With the exception of one or two youngsters, Kelly is playing the team most people on here chose... Benji Posted 8 August 2006 Share Posted 8 August 2006 And you can't complain at people complaining either if you don't go down Benji Why? I'm not complaining about the football. I'm just pointing out the obvious. I haven't a problem with people hating rob kelly/our squad/our board/how we are performing, but all the concerns so far have been based on commentary by either the useless barber or the equally cr@p lcfcworld. Might aswell be back at Filbert street with a full house and great atmosphere. Its Tuesday night , many people on holidays, Burnley is ferkin miles away, and with work commitments and various other reasons , it aint the best time of year to expect high attendance. I will bet one english pound that Saturdays attendance will be up by 5000 or so on tonights. The tosspot on the radio made out that the attendance was gonna be around 10k the way he went on ! lcfc_jme Posted 8 August 2006 Share Posted 8 August 2006 money doesn't give the team passion though and it doesn't make them play to the standard the fans expect... look at chelsea when Abramovich came in that first year and Ranieri was the gaffer

lcfc_jme Posted 8 August 2006 Share Posted 8 August 2006 it would help if the players were commited to the cause though and actually wanted the team to do well, as Low showed when he came on

Too right m8 thats why i stopped going down 2 years ago ,got fed up spending alot of money and coming home pissed off. I had hope for this season after the end of last years performances so i said we would finish 8th this year but now id say 8th from bottom. I even won tickets at the end of last season but still didnt go.
