Daggers Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 Is there any point to those things? I was passing loads of cars with them shining away last night. If I get stuck I have this wonderful map that I look at ~ which, of course, never happens because I'm a bloke and will drive for hours refusing to accept I'm lost. The journey is the adventure, I always say.

You poor fool An example: My first attempt to navigate from Brussels airport to Hasselt (Belgium) - Missed the turnoff from the Brussels ring road - Took just over 45 mins to get back on track - Then made 2 or 3 other errors along the way - Total journey time 3 hours 20 mins Second attempt armed with Sat Nav and a small amount of hindsite - The Brussels ring road was still difficult but I made it without any errors - Phew! - Total journey time 1 hour 25 mins

Daggers Posted 9 August 2006 Author Posted 9 August 2006 but surely the fact that it was your "second" time on said journey that made it easier not to make mistakes of first time Not if you're my wife...and she's a girl...does that mean DS is a girl?
Deathside Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 but surely the fact that it was your "second" time on said journey that made it easier not to make mistakes of first time Au contraire my fine feathered friend Due to having not taken the correct route on the first occasion I didn't actually know the correct route (Asuming there can be only one (correct route)) - And so just put my faith in the old NavMan and drove wherever she told me
