Guest Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 Something needs to be done. We could try the sit in again, but as we found out yesterday, 15 minutes is obviously far too much tie for people to give up, I don't think. How about A4 "No Tigers" sheets, handed to as many people as possible before the game?
TrickyTrev Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 Accept that the reason peoiple did not stay in after the match yesterday is because they are not that opossed to the move rather than saying they are not willing to stay around for 15 mins.

Are you suggesting that they all decided not to go to the game to register their protest?

We have 14,000 seaon ticket holders, by my calculations that is 0.357 of our season ticket holders. I know their are more people opossed than that but in relaity even if a couple of thousand people sat in we are still looking at a huge minority.
Guest Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 "huge minority" hmmmm The reason this hasn't worked is because people are apathetic. They believe that someone else will do the hard work, so they can get home and have a cuppa. It is endemic in our society. It is why nothing ever gets done. Only when it's too late will people realise that they only have themselves to blame.

Guest Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 41015 Of course, I would expect a mature response from you. Thank you for your time and effort, it is much appreciated.
Oli Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 Wait outside after the game near where the players and board members come out, as many people as possible. To try and get the message through.

Foxes_Trust Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 Surely the next stage is to come to the open meeting on Thursday. Why hang around outside the ground hoping to catch the board of directors after a game when you won't know what many of them look like & may have a 2 hour wait? On Thursday they will be sitting in front of you waiting for your questions and wanting to hear fans views. Use the evening to get your views over, while listening to other fans views as well
Hullfox Posted 28 November 2004 Posted 28 November 2004 Use the evening to get your views over, while listening to other fans views as well 41093 That second bit will be really hard for some FT, really really hard.

Anyway apathy shows that people do not care enough to try and change something, you are going to have a hard time convincing me they have any levels of serious objection to the ground share. Even if they would sya they were against it when pu ton the spot. and yes 2,000 out fo 20,000 is a tiny minority. It is 10%. Yould have to be looking at having 2/3 support to block such aserious move and you are nowhere near that!

Most people I have spoken to are against it however, and some of those those have said that they feel they cannot be bothered fighting what they consider to be a done deal.
