Janx Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 How on earth can he expect to perform the day-to-day roles as chairman and manager while also acting as chairman trying to find a new manager to replace himself depending on whether results improve or not? It beggars belief. A buffoon of the highest order, but hey no-one can say he isnt committed...or should be!
Dr The Singh Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 A buffoon of the highest order, but hey no-one can say he isnt committed...or should be! Maybe he gets 2 pay packets and that's the reason why he has 2 roles at the club!!!!
lookwhaticando Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 It isn't that bad up at Blunderland just yet. Afterall, the fans aren't singing "We want our Murray back"
lcfc_jme Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 It'd be interesting to see whether or not as many Sunderland fans want Quinn out after 4 games no points as there were City fans who wanted RK out after 2 games no points. I'd say they probably don't and they're giving Quinn every chance to turn it around. After all, their average attendance is around 7,000 higher than ours

It's almost a hero's return for Quinn. He's got this sort of history. Consider it similar to Muzzy Izzet or Neil Lennon returning and taking over as manager. We'd still be firmly behind either of them 4 games in with no points... Legends/Heroes returning usually get a bit more time from the fans.
