willy37 Posted 1 September 2006 Posted 1 September 2006 In my opinion the championship has devloped into one of the most difficult leagues around. When i think back we were always tipped for promotion, or at least to do well, and many of us believed it too. Now i think that there is not 1 single game where i would be confident that we would win. Im not saying its because we are a bad team, i think that all the "lesser" teams i.e the Burnleys, Plymouths and all the newly promoted teams are just as good and can match most of the opposition in the league. I think for us ever to get back into the premiership we do need somebody like milan mandaric to come in and inject some money into the club beacause at the minute our squad is poor.

This meant that we were in the upper echelon in terms of finance. Now we are middling to bottom in that area because we havent got any. Whilst teams such as Birmingham, West Brom and Sunderland get premiership money. Southampton sold Theo Walcott and have money, Leeds have Ken Bates, Coventry and Derby have investment, Cardiff Sam Hamman etc etc. It will always be difficult to achieve when other teams have more money than you do. Watford proved it was possible

Watford proved it was possible Cardiff have bigger debts then us! ..........and are losing £2 Million every year.
