Taylor Loan Extended

Leicester City have today extended the loan spell of Arsenal goalkeeper Stuart Taylor by a further month.

Taylor joined the Foxes last month after it was confirmed that first choice 'keeper Ian Waker could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.

And after impressing during that period the Foxes have moved swiftly to secure the 23-year-old's services for the busy festive period.

Taylor said: "I've enjoyed my time with Leicester so far and I am delighted that the move has been extended by a further month.

"It's been a great experience to get first team football under my belt and I am looking forward to doing as much as I can to help the club."

Taylor has conceded just one goal during his three games between the sticks - and his move has corresponded with the Foxes picking up seven points from a possible nine.

That Almunia is a bit of a joke really. I watched the Arsenal v Rosenborg game, and although they won easily, he looked extremely dodgy in goal. I can't believe Wenger rates him over Taylor, but I suppose on the other hand, he's not exactly been a spotter of goalkeeping talent over recent years, has he?

I'm not complaining though. ;)

As I posted in another thread, Wenger does not rate Taylor as a keeper.

His loss is our gain!

Wenger for all his brilliance needs to seriously question his ability when it comes to judgin goalkeepers. He seems to prefer foreigners all the time, it's a joke.

Still, if it means we get to sign Taylor permanently, I couldn't give a damn.
