Janx Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 Yes, £30 odd quid each, 9,000,000 pages each, about 4 of the beggars necessary, according to lecturers, and a (suspected) broken wrist. Not good. I take it your books are updated and reprinted every year? My wife's still got all hers from when she did her degree and LPC
Guest Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 I take it your books are updated and reprinted every year? My wife's still got all hers from when she did her degree and LPC As sod's law would have it, the ones you need are updated, therefore eliminating the possibility of second hand books.Grr.

Daggers Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 10) Women didn't moan at every mortal thing done on this Earth by a bloke ...but I usually take this as a compliment on my abilities and technique
cisono Posted 9 October 2006 Posted 9 October 2006 Sh it, I've got a library book which is now over a month overdue. I haven't even started reading it. *sigh* Have you tried renewing it? Might save you some cash Mine are not overdue (did renew them), but have only read two pages from one of the six!
lcfc_jme Posted 10 October 2006 Posted 10 October 2006 ...but I usually take this as a compliment on my abilities and technique  Ahh I like your thinking Mr Bob, and I agree with you that moaning is not always a bad thing, and can actually be considered a compliment in certain circumstances But I was referring to those times where it isn't complimentary and is not a measure of your skills or technique*, and instead is just a natural thing for a woman to do *(meaning when she is fully clothed) pps. Hi lookydoodledooo I'm home now!!)
Katy Posted 10 October 2006 Posted 10 October 2006 Im pissed off at the moment, so my life would be easier if the things that pissed me off didnt exist.
lookwhaticando Posted 10 October 2006 Posted 10 October 2006 Im pissed off at the moment, so my life would be easier if the things that pissed me off didnt exist. It's the postman, isn't it?
Daggers Posted 10 October 2006 Posted 10 October 2006 It's the postman, isn't it? If the Posty had delivered the book he's been using to prop up a table at his house, or wedge the door shut to the room full of stolen mail, then I wouldn't have got stressed and put my back out in such painful fashion. Posties are the new Bus drivers...who were the old Posties anyway.
