I bought a 400 page book here on the other side of the pond - set me back 80 quid. :S

I need another one just like it for another course, and another book I bought was 70 quid. :blink:

Yes, £30 odd quid each, 9,000,000 pages each, about 4 of the beggars necessary, according to lecturers, and a (suspected) broken wrist.

I bought one second-hand, a week ago, from Amazon for £8.95 and the bastard never turned up.
