chili_con_carne Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Didnt go to or listen to the game but a few on the Saints boards have said the music sounded like carnival music when we scored?
lcfc_jme Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Didnt go to or listen to the game but a few on the Saints boards were saying the music sounded like carnival music when we scored? I'm sure they just play Post Horn Gallop when we score Hardly carnival music but I could be wrong
lildave3 Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 It's just the 'new jazzed up' version of the Post Horn Gallop
SystonFox Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Didnt go to or listen to the game but a few on the Saints boards have said the music sounded like carnival music when we scored? how did they get back from the game so quick? concorde?
Coxy Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 how did they get back from the game so quick? concorde? ?We provide only the best for our away supporters, why shouldn't they?
SystonFox Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 i got a shitload of abuse in morrisons car park from some sour saints fans so i told them they are just a small town in pompey.
Maybes Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 The music makes me embarresed to be a fan of the club
lcfc_jme Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 The music makes me embarresed to be a fan of the club Aye but I'm right in assuming it's the newer version of the PHG that gets played??
SystonFox Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 The music makes me embarresed to be a fan of the club i start clapping for the goal and cheering but then i find myself clapping in tune of the music - annoying. catchy though.
davieG Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 The question should be why do they play any ********* music when we score? There couldn't be a better example of when not to play music in the history of the world. As for the what they actually play it's a version of the Post Horn Gallop arranged as part of a selection of classical tunes under the heading 'Hooked on Classics' from sometime in the late 60's so hardly new.
