Head Honcho Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 Right just booked my flights for nye, but ive no idea what area to book my hotel, has anyone got a idea or some advice for me? I was there recently and stayed in an apartment. Depend how many of you are going but it normally works out cheaper. For the tourist thing stay around Placa Catalunya or in Bailen. I stayed in Gracia, it's away from the tourist trail but only a few stops on the subway and it's great for nightlife so fell out of the pubs into the apartment.

It's gonna cost you a fortune in the hotels so I'd opt for an apartment they'll still be expensive but not as http://www.apartmentsapart.com/Europe/Spai.../Apartments/All

You'll find it on most hotel booking site but the prices vary widely on each of them so shop around if you decide to go for it, but I'd highly recommend it.

Dr The Singh Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 I have been to barca quite a few times and the most cost effective has always been in a apartment, usually just off the ramblas.
