I was hoping it was something exciting/scandalous, instead it's some customer service twonks saying sorry because they've done you over. Where's the fun in that?!

I find this story really strange! 1) They refused to pay me interest on the late refund (probably max a couple of pounds), then they send me flowers that probably cost more! 2) They made my boyfriend really jealous for a short while

No, I actually thought he'd sent me flowers. When I rang up to check if that was the case, he said he hadn't and got a bit worried in case I had a secret (or not so secret) admirer. It was only later that I found a small message stuck to part of the internal packaging...
