That's a focking insult to that club's fans, I really feel for them. £325 is bad enough to watch a poor side like Gillingham in a stadium that was recently voted the worst in the country, but to raise it by £90 after you've just been relegated to League One is a complete joke. I don't care how much debt they may have, it's a disgrace. It's really indicative of just how little respect normal fans are shown by the 'footballing aristocracy". Sad thing is, though, most Gills fans have probably renewed anyway through sheer love of their club.
lookwhaticando Posted 26 October 2006 Posted 26 October 2006 Bloody hell! A poor side like them, I'd expect a private box for two seasons for that kinda money!

'thanks for the support, in this tough season where we have been relagated, oh by the way the price of a season ticket will go up £90 next season.' oh Thanks for that.

How the hell are the players going to pay for their new Merc's otherwise? Christ, anyone would think you expect players to accept responsibility for relegation by taking pay-cuts! Duh! It's not easy being an overpaid and underachieving player...get off their backs!
