Not far off the mark but they do get shit hole houses spotless, so they are ok in my boooook
lookwhaticando Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 Not far off the mark but they do get shit hole houses spotless, so they are ok in my boooook I saw an episode they did in America. I was frankly shocked by the dump they had come across - how the hell does anyone let their house look such a dump?
Katy Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 I saw an episode they did in America. I was frankly shocked by the dump they had come across - how the hell does anyone let their house look such a dump? I dont know but it's unhygenic at best!
Guest Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 I saw an episode they did in America. I was frankly shocked by the dump they had come across - how the hell does anyone let their house look such a dump? Because at the end of the day, some people are bone idle feckers.
lookwhaticando Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 Because at the end of the day, some people are bone idle feckers. There's lazy and there's careless. Some of these people have young kids, and these kids are exposed to all kinds of nasty material which no person in their right mind would knowingly expose their kids to. I mean, there was some house in California they did - they had pet snakes and dogs and stuff, and there was all kinds of (literally) shit on the floor which they neglected to clean up ever... as well as many damp patches. Do these people have no respect for the health of themselves or their kids? Disturbing.

Besides, some would say it's better for the kids, as their immune systems work better or something.

Rincewind Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 Re the first post. I'd make a good student then Holly, but not the sort you'd want. A bloke was due to call today to change my gas meter. I spent the last couple of days trying to clean my flat then I miss him. Think I was hoovering when he knocked on my door. Now it could be 3/4 months before they can arrange another appointment. How do I keep my flat tidy until then? It means getting the hoover out AGAIN ready for the next time. It's all go for a bachelor. I need an aur pair to attend to my needs. Any volunteers?

Jon the Hat Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 A rat or two never harmed anyone (possible historical factual error here, may have to look it up on Wikipedia and edit this statement). The Black death?
