dan_84 Posted 27 December 2004 Posted 27 December 2004 YES. He bought the players!!!! I dont think we can really judge Levein untill he has had the chance to buy his own players because at the minute he is still playing with Micky's team. I think there has been an improvement in the team since Levein took over except for yesterday it was an embarresment.
Guest Daniel Posted 27 December 2004 Posted 27 December 2004 Yeah, he brought this shit squad we've now got. What a shit thread to start. Look ahead not back.
Katy Posted 27 December 2004 Posted 27 December 2004 The problem with Micky is that he tried to be everyones mate and thusly in the end 'lost' the dressing room - CL is in the mould of Martin O - keeping the players at arms length and commanding respect.
Mark Posted 27 December 2004 Posted 27 December 2004 Disscuss? Was it really his fault 49740 Who brought this wonderful squad together? Doesn't take much thinking does it even for you?

Doesn't take much thinking does it even for you? 49770 To be fair Twatlor signed Tricky Trev on a seventeen year contract and obviously no one wants him and his massive wages so Micky was stuck with him but apart from that - yes Mick signed some duffers!
Little Nicky Posted 27 December 2004 Posted 27 December 2004 Baffling thread, Gagandeep. 49778 His falling out with Keown, who he broguht in to assist and pass on his vast knowledge did it for me, the guy lost the damn plot, he ultimately had to go! levein will gel the team in january when he's signed his defender and attacker i believe he is after!
davieG Posted 27 December 2004 Posted 27 December 2004 Disscuss? Was it really his fault 49740 Do get real MON, no wonder some people treat you with contempt, not only a ridiculous question but totally pointless in terms of discussion. Or are you just bored, seeking attention, just haven't, read the posts on here or not been to any games.
MON Posted 27 December 2004 Author Posted 27 December 2004 At the time he brought the players they were seen as good buys. His downfall was motivating the team.

PompeyFox Posted 27 December 2004 Posted 27 December 2004 Says it all about Adams. How many jobs have become vacant and he's still out of work. Does anybody want a manager who gets a 3 goal lead, then lose's it in 2nd half. Adams has been sussed. He walked into a pub in Market Harborough last summer and turned around and said "does anyone recognise me". How pathetic.
MON Posted 28 December 2004 Author Posted 28 December 2004 We are doing worse under Cl then we were under Adams. What could have micky brought with the money at his disposal? Now we have CL and we can't even get 30k to buy alan maybury. The club is a joke. Sack the board!

Hullfox Posted 28 December 2004 Posted 28 December 2004 I actually think that MON has a point. It's on the top of his cone shaped hat with a "D" on it.

Guest Posted 29 December 2004 Posted 29 December 2004 They say a good workman should never blame his tools, but Craig Levein has certainly been left with some.
TrickyTrev Posted 29 December 2004 Posted 29 December 2004 Every signing h made in the summer went wrong, we have an average squad performing slightly below par not a good squad performing well below par.
