Kilworthfox Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 This seasons hot shots Hume 14 apps 5 sub 8 goals 1 as sub vs ipswich Fryatt 12 apps 4 sub 2 goals 1 as sub vs sheff wed Hammond 11 apps 5 sub 2 goals 1 as a sub 1 vs Hereford O'Grady 6 apps 4 sub 1 goal in cup vs macclesfield Total city career Hume 47 apps 14 sub 17 goals Fryatt 30 apps 5 sub 9 goals Hammond 30 apps 24 sub 6 goals O'Grady 6 apps 18 sub 2 goals De Vries 35 apps 20 sub 10 goals ( deemed not useful or good enough by RK) So begs the question who is good enough to stay? Should MDV be back? Do the stats which seem to be popular at the moment tell the truth?
Stevosevic Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 I would just like to say that Hume is capable of scoring so many more with decent service. i read in the Norwich programme that Hume has had 30 shots and scored 8 goals. Rob Earnshaw has scored 13 goals in a whopping 80 shots!!! Hume is better
Joe. Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 Shocking strikers but to be fair, it's generally a shocking midfield that causes people to believe that they are shocking strikers

If matty got better service his stats would improve not that he looks the same player as last year because he did not get great service then.

It's like now, everyone is saying Fryatt is a bad player but to be fair he gets NO service whatsoever. I feel sorry for him.

But he doesn't seem to be bothered this season. He rarely makes runs so he is making it hard for the midfielders to pass to him. Works both ways imo.
