ceebeefox Posted 2 December 2006 Posted 2 December 2006 I'm sick of trying to pick a side out of such a mundane bunch of overpaid dead beats. When Milan comes l hope to only see. Logan, Stearman, Williams , Kisnorbo ,Weso, Hume (maybe) . The rest can go and bore somone else.
Vo Rogue Posted 2 December 2006 Posted 2 December 2006 williams' Weso n Nisse all back and playing next game. A definite.
Thracian Posted 2 December 2006 Posted 2 December 2006 This is who I'd like to start: Logan; Stearman, Kisnorbo, McAuley, Tiatto; Hughes, Williams, Porter Dodds Hammond Hume Subs: Henderson, Nils, King, Gradel, Fryatt. Williams would need to be fully fit but if that were the case I'd start him rather than King because it's a daunting first venue for a youngster and King has a Youth cup match in midweek. Also having two youngsters make their debut from the off is perhaps a bit risky. But I would find a lot out and, I believe, increase my options player-wise and system wise for the future. I would also ensure both players knew they would get extended opportunities from the bench at the very least because all three players if your include Gradel can, I am sure, benefit our football. Proably eight potential scorers there yet seven acceptable defensive players and others capable of working hard.

Would you really honestly not want him? I know just about 99% of people on this forum would.

I also think people are quickly forgetting the Villa hero, Henderson, he has done nothing wrong.
hebangsthedrums Posted 2 December 2006 Posted 2 December 2006 This is who I'd like to start: Logan; Stearman, Kisnorbo, McAuley, Tiatto; Hughes, Williams, Porter Dodds Hammond Hume Subs: Henderson, Nils, King, Gradel, Fryatt. Not the team id pick but decent enough. Ive only seen Dodds play for 15 mins but from the way you describe him its as a finisher. I'm curious then as to why you would put him in the hole, surely if he doesn't have the workrate of hume the two would be better switched. Or would you see the trio as interchangeable?

I also think people are quickly forgetting the Villa hero, Henderson, he has done nothing wrong. But Logan is playing well and keeping him out, rightly so in my opinion. It's nice that we fianlly do not have a keeper crisis. it's just everywhere else that's the problem
