A Challenge!

I have a challenge for everyone!

I need to find a picture of a Christmas Scene. It must contain snow, a lovely tree, loads of people and lots of colour.

By I need to find it, I mean my Missus has asked me to find it for some work she's doing, and I'm passing the responsibility on. Aren't I grand?

Whilst pictures that contain none of the above may be funny, they won't actually be helpful!

I find Google pretty tricky too, actually.

For example, I was trying to find a picture of a donkey licking the edge of a cup. I typed "ass rimming" into the search engine and was deeply shocked and offended about what came up.

Any good?

It's gone on her list of possibles to use.

She's trying to find pictures for a lesson she's got to teach. She's making some kids write a description of a Christmas scene.

And she's being quite fussy about what's in the picture.

Sounds like Charlotte.

Spending endless amounts of time on planning when a 15 minute rush job (at the last moment) would suffice.

I suppose it comes down to an inner desire to do the best possible job for yourself and for the kids.

I lack that.

I can see that being my biggest failing next year when I try and do the PGCE.

Don't worry - you can get away with murder in the classroom. Well, you could until they made it illegal and pushed "inclusion" onto schools instead.

I doubt it.

In many ways I see it as a strength.

Charlotte gets so worried and stressed about it. She cares too much.

Laura's the same. She gets amazingly worried and stressed about getting her work done. I'm trying to teach her that it's ok to do a half arsed job, but she doesn't seem to be getting it!

I actually did two lesson plans for Charlotte by rephrasing what some book said.

She had to admit that they were spot on.

Then she took around 4 hours doing exactly the same thing, just neater but mis-spelt.

I've helped Laura plan a number of lesson by simply telling her what I did in my GCSE English lesson. And also what the kids at my school are doing at the moment.

Nothing like ripping off someone elses ideas!

My latest essay is turning into one of those.

It's the only way to do things!

But I need a first. A 2:1 will not suffice. But it's such a boring title, and only 1,000 words. I have cut my paltry effort in to 1,600 words of quotes, but I don't think it will pass the plagiarism software.

2:1's are the way forward. However 1000 words does seem ridiculously small.
