Taylor - 8 - some fantastic saves that kept us in it, but again was woeful with his kicking. When the f... will he ever learn that he needs to improve in that area? Also almost cost us on one occasion when he flapped at a cross and completely missed it.

Makin - 7 - better performance than usual. Got some decent crosses in.

Keown - 6.5 - defensively sound, but gave the ball away far too cheaply by attempting long balls out from defence which went straight to QPR players. Play it simple ffs!

Dublin - 7 - good defensively, won a lot of headers. But also gave the ball away cheaply by trying fancy passes. Also gave away a few needless free-kicks and he seems to be picking up Dabizas's bad habit of chesting into players.

Dabizas -7- was quite solid, better than usual.

Gemmill - N/A - I can't give him a rating cos I missed his performance due to work.

Nalis - 5.5 - invisible most of the time. Needs to be rested.

Williams - 7.5 - great going forward, supported the attackers really well and looked a threat. Shame that he can't defend.

Connolly - 6 - poor at holding the ball up, didn't really do much and didn't cause many problems for their defence. Was never really in positions to score either, although there was one shot in the 2nd half which was close.

Slowcroft - 4 - pathetic again. Only did one or two things right all game. Didn't win any aerial battles of note and left Connolly isolated up front far too often. Also lost the ball on a number of occasions due to his inability to hold the ball up.

Subs:

Joey - 6 - poor passing far too frequently, but got stuck in won a few tackles.

Tiatto - 5 - didn't really do much, got booked again which means a 2 match suspension.

Heath - 5- had too little time to make an impact.

Whoops I forgot... Stewart - 7.5 - another good game from him. Amzing run forward in the 1st half, looks very lively.

Taylor 7- One great save but made a terrible mistake misjudging a cross and he can't kick

Makin 6 He was solid but I don't think he offers enough going forward to be a right wing back, I suspect he wiul lose his place ot Maybury

Keown 5 Probably our worst defender actually, just had a bad game with mistiming headers and wayward distribution

Dabizas 6 The spare man of a three never has much to do at home but he didn't do anything wrong which makes for a nice change

Dublin 7 I thought he played really well with some intelligent distribution and telling headers

Stewart 8 Continued his good form both in attack and in defence

Gemill 6 I can't mark him any worse than this because the midfield were working well when he was on the pitch but he didn't do anything praticuarly great.

Nalis 4 I would definately give him a couple of weeks rest, his performances have dropped in standard sharply since the first few months of the season.

Willimas 7 A willing runner and a good attitude but things didn't really coem off for him, definatly deserves a run in the team

Connolly 6 Tried too much on some occaisions but he did at least look lively in the first half and took the penalty well.

Scowcroft 5 Started off excelelnt but declined, I wonder if he is exhausted and/or unfit.

Gujohnson 6- Took a good shot when he was given a chance and unlucky not to score, still some ugly looking passes ruined an otherwise good performance.

Tiatto 5 Made no impact other than committing fouls, probably unfit.

Heath 6 Should never have been brought on as a substitue, 4 centre backs can only confuse te issue.

It would be easy to get exicted about a home win but you have to remeber we were no better than an average team like QPR, there is still a lot of room for improvement.
