Steven Posted 23 December 2006 Posted 23 December 2006 From the BBC. Leicester v Cardiff Leicester midfielder Andy Johnson is doubtful with an ankle injury while Momo Sylla has a thigh problem. Defender Richard Stearman is suspended but Darren Kenton is back in training after a calf injury. Cardiff have Stephen McPhail available again after a three-match ban and he is expected to replace Willo Flood, who injured his leg last weekend. Alan Wright could come in for Chris Gunter, while Kerrea Gilbert is fully fit after a shoulder injury.
Steven Posted 23 December 2006 Posted 23 December 2006 From the OS. Two Changes For Cardiff ClashLeicester City boss Rob Kelly has been forced to make two changes to his starting line up for the Championship clash against Cardiff City at the Walkers Stadium. In come Alan Maybury and Josh Low for Stephen Hughes and Richard Stearman. Stearman misses the game after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Barnsley last weekend, while Hughes has a sickness bug and is unable to take up his place in the Leicester midfield. Paul Henderson keeps his place in goal, with a back four of Maybury, Patrick Kisnorbo, Gareth McAuley and Nisse Johansson playing in front of him from right to left. Low, Danny Tiatto, Gareth Williams and Levi Porter make up the Leicester midfield, with Elvis Hammond and Iain Hume named in attack. Former Leicester defender Riccy Scimeca is named in the Cardiff starting XI. City: Henderson, Maybury, Kisnorbo ©, McCarthy, Johansson, Low, Tiatto, Williams, Porter, Hume, Hammond. Subs: Logan, Fryatt, McCarthy, Welsh, Wesolowski. Cardiff: Alexander, Gilbert, Loovens, Purse ©, McNaughton, Parry, McPhail, Scimeca, Ledley, Thompon, Chopra. Subs: Campbell, Blake, Johnson, Wright, Howard.
lookwhaticando Posted 23 December 2006 Posted 23 December 2006 As expected - with the exception of Low's inclusion. Shame he's in the team again. PS: Love the OS's accuracy. City: Henderson, Maybury, Kisnorbo ©, McCarthy, Johansson, Low, Tiatto, Williams, Porter, Hume, Hammond. Subs: Logan, Fryatt, McCarthy, Welsh, Wesolowski. Spot the clones!
