Webbo Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 this was supposed to be a poll but i've c0cked it up.
JoeyB Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 if they were doing well, entertaing matches and local yup i would anything else no
lcfc_jme Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 Ermm I'd have voted no if it were a poll. Though I must say, I do sit and watch the Women's FA Cup final for some reason
vanfox12 Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 I don't know but considering the shite we've been seeing down the Walkers the past couple of years i could be easily converted to watching womens football.
Joe. Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 I don't know but considering the shite we've been seeing down the Walkers the past couple of years i could be easily converted to watching womens football. It's even worse. Think watching a whole team of Josh Low's but a little bit better.
Thracian Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 It's even worse. Think watching a whole team of Josh Low's but a little bit better. That's bloody unkind ........................to the ladies. They might not have the pace and strength of male players but when I watched their Cup Final they did seem to be trying to do the right things. We've lots of people in our team with limited ability but most of em manage to make some contribution. But, even when Low shows that he cannot outrun a guy or beat him for trickery he still doesn't have the common sense to simply retain possession by passing and moving. Consequently we lose the ball and everyone has another chunk of work to do that they could do without.
lookwhaticando Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 I'd watch any football so long as it was good, proper football - and entertaining. As I was saying - I would say Yes... absolutely. If a bunch of ladies feel the need to run around with a ball at their feet in an entertaining manner, then I'd feel inclined to watch them - and pay for the privilege. It's a credible alternative to watching the theatrics of paid professionals so clearly in the wrong line of work *cough* Robben *cough* or the billionaire players who go down like they've been shot under the weakest of challenges. I wonder if the Foxes ladies team feels the need to go tumbling down under the weakest of challenges?
Flynny Posted 24 December 2006 Posted 24 December 2006 Why am I going to be the first person to say something chauvanistic like "depends if they were fit or not"? For shame, lads. For shame.
